Similar to the Aiguille de Mesure the Aiguille de Praz-Torrent offers unique climbing in red gneiss nearly all year. Climbs on this peak are easily doable in a day with an two hour hike as an approach.
Climbs on the Praz-Torrent are ideal introduction climbs for the slightly longer but more demanding routes on the Aiguille de Mesure. In particular, they can be easily combined with a night at the bivouac spot close to the cliffs.
