The area of Mauvoisin offers many different ice climbs of nearly all possible difficulties. Depending on the temperatures during the winter, some or all of them are in conditions. The Bonatchiesse is a nice four pitch climb that is not too far from the road (about 1h approach) and despite the low altitude is relatively often in conditions due to its north exposition. The second pitch leads up a steep column and offers great exposure.
