Time:3 days (1 approach, 1 climbing, 1 hike out)
Difficulty:very difficult (TD), 700m climbing, 6a+ max, mostly 4 and 5
People:two, experienced
Specific:beautiful bivouac close to the mountain face
Starting point:  Unnerbärg (1329m) close to Fieschertal, return trip (map)

Despite the superb climbing it offers, the Kleines (small) Wannenhorn is rarely visited in summer. The south face is climbed by an impressive iconic line, already visible from the bivouac. This trip brings you to one of the most remote places in Switzerland with beautiful views to the Aletsch and Fiescher glaciers throughout.
