I had the pleasure to participate in a summer seminar in Ovronnaz. These PhD seminars offer a particular format. Classes in the morning and the late evening, leaving a few hours after lunch every day to enjoy the surroundings. This gave me four hours to do some training and enjoy the beautiful mountains around the small town. Having no partner at hand to climb the more demanding arete of the Grand Muveran, I decided to run the normal route for a training session. Leaving at lunch time, I was back to class just four hours and 1700m altitude later, refreshed from the beautiful views.
